Packaging
Packaging is equally important as cultivation in our company. We can meet all your requirements for herbs by supplying our freshly cut herbs in any form of packaging you can imagine.
Van Vugt Kruiden specialises in growing and packaging freshly cut herbs all year round. To guarantee our products we work together with a network of international growers. The herbs are grown abroad especially for us and flown in fresh every day so that we always have a continual supply of fresh herbs. All our growers are GlobalGAP certified.
Our range of standard packaging includes:

We pack the herbs for supermarkets, hotels and caterers, and food processing companies, but wholesalers are also part of our distribution chain.
Our packaging centre is BRC high level certified and we also have the facilities to tailor packaging to our clients' requirements. We can package our products with your own label or logo providing you, the client, with your very own range of herbs.
The packing machinery consists of flow-pack machines (horizontal and vertical), sealing machines and a packaging line for small reclosable 20 g containers for supermarkets.
Our production and packing centre is situated about 1 km from the Barendrecht Fresh World fruit & vegetable centreand we are close to the motorway network.
