Will you be our new colleague?
For packing our herbs and babyleafs, we have machinery. To serve our customers well, these machines must function optimally. Therefore, machinery should hold no (technical) secrets for you. You know exactly how the machines work and you get energy from optimising processes. In this position, you are responsible for the entire machine park. You take care of the complete maintenance of the machines and you are the first on the scene when malfunctions happen.

Function description
You will work independently in detecting and eliminating failures, repairs and maintenance work on the machinery and other installations. You will be also responsible for the maintenance of the production hall, to ensure that production activities can continue. By timely planning and performing preventive maintenance, you can prevent (frequent) failures. Thanks to your knowledge and experience, you can set priorities and act quickly in case of technical malfunctions and problems.

Specifically, this includes:

• Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on various machines;

• Responsible for scheduling, performing (or having performed) and recording the periodic maintenance of the machines;

• Functions as the point of contact during the performance of maintenance work and resolving malfunctions;

• Taking care of machine optimisations and monitoring the good condition of the machinery;

• Responsible for proper registration and documentation regarding maintenance and repairs;

• Point of contact for various external parties;

• Responsible for ensuring that the right materials are in stock and ordered on time;

• No day is the same! Every day is a challenge to independently repair malfunctions and solve other diverse technical issues. Naturally, you ensure that the above work is carried out according to the correct procedures and quality requirements.

What do we expect from you?

• Full-time availability

• Flexibility in terms of working hours, malfunctions need to be solved for a continuous production process;

• At least a completed technical MBO education;

• Demonstrable experience in a similar position;

• Mechanical knowledge (must);

• Electronic knowledge (preferred);

• Affinity with technology and machine maintenance in the food industry;

• You are stress-resistant, can prioritise well and have good social skills;

• Good command of the Dutch and English languages.
