HR specialist

No two days are the same in HR. One day, you’re advising on an employee-related issue; the next, you’re working on policies or moving a project forward. We’re looking for an HR Specialist who takes initiative, works independently and turns ideas into practical solutions. Sound like you? We’d love to meet you!

Who are you?

You’re a dedicated HR professional with a hands-on mentality. You take responsibility, think ahead and enjoy getting to the bottom of complex issues. You thrive on variety, enjoy working independently and know when it’s important to involve others in your ideas.

What will you do?

You’ll have the freedom to take ownership of projects and contribute ideas for HR policies that fit Van Vugt Kruiden. You’ll advise on personnel matters, help address topics that arise within our family business and turn ideas into practical solutions. You’ll also answer employee questions, support payroll processing and step in wherever needed. This means combining projects and advisory work with the day-to-day realities of HR.

From our site in Ridderkerk, we grow, pack and deliver a wide range of products to customers in the Netherlands and abroad every day. We’re a growing family business with a down-to-earth mentality. Communication lines are short, everyone is involved, and colleagues are always there to support one another.

You are:

• Available for at least 32 hours per week;

• An experienced HR professional (experience with payroll administration is an advantage);

• Sociable, approachable and genuinely interested in people;

• Accurate and well organised, with a good overview of your work;

• Flexible and solution-oriented;

• Proficient in both Dutch and English;

• An early bird, ready to start your working day at 7:30 a.m.
