As an HR Specialist, you are a vital link across all levels of our company. You are approachable, capable of setting clear priorities, and contribute to our mission of being a good employer. Attracting and retaining the right talent are key focus areas.

In this role, your main responsibilities include:

• Recruitment & Selection: You ensure the right people are in the right roles and guide new colleagues through the onboarding process.

• Absence Management and Case Handling: You manage absence cases, maintain contact with occupational health services and the Dutch Employee Insurance Agency (UWV), and prepare absence reports.

• Timekeeping & Payroll Administration: You verify hour submissions, ensure timely and accurate salary payments, and identify and correct any discrepancies in payroll administration.

• HR Policy & Process Optimization: You contribute ideas for improving HR processes and help keep internal regulations up to date.

 

In addition, you’ll handle:

• Personnel Administration: Keeping employee files, contracts, and job descriptions up to date.

• Employee Inquiries: Answering HR-related questions on topics like employment conditions and absence.

• Compliance with Laws and Regulations: Applying and maintaining up-to-date knowledge of the Glastuinbouw CLA and other relevant labor laws.

• Contract Management: Drafting employment contracts, processing changes, and ensuring accurate administrative handling.

• Other Administrative Tasks: Preparing employer statements, processing contract changes, and managing leave registrations.

What you bring:

• Availability of 28–32 hours per week (working days and times to be agreed upon);

• A completed MBO or HBO education in a relevant field;

• At least 3 years of experience in an HR role (preferred);

• Knowledge of payroll processing;

• Strong command of Dutch and English;

• A passion for working with people;

• Good listening skills;

• A flexible, proactive attitude;

• The ability to weigh different interests and set clear priorities.
