Will you be our new colleague?

We have set up a machinery park for packaging our herbs and baby leaves. To serve our customers well, it is essential that these machines function optimally. Therefore, a machinery park holds no (technical) secrets for you. You know exactly how the machines work and you get energized by optimizing processes. In this role, you are responsible for the entire machinery park. You handle all machine maintenance and are the first to respond when breakdowns occur.

Job description

You work independently to detect and resolve malfunctions, carry out repairs, and perform maintenance tasks on the machinery and other installations. You are also responsible for maintaining the production hall to ensure production activities continue uninterrupted. By scheduling and performing preventive maintenance on time, you can reduce (frequent) breakdowns. With your knowledge and experience, you are able to set priorities and act quickly when technical breakdowns and issues arise.

Specifically, this means:

• Performing preventive maintenance and repairs on various machines;

• Responsible for scheduling, overseeing, and documenting the periodic maintenance of the machines;

• Acting as the point of contact during maintenance tasks and troubleshooting;

• Taking care of optimizing the machines and monitoring the good condition of the machinery park;

• Responsible for the correct registration and documentation regarding maintenance and repairs;

• Point of contact for various external parties;

• Ensuring that the correct materials are in stock and ordered on time.
   

No day is the same! Every day, it's a challenge to independently resolve malfunctions and solve various technical issues. Of course, you will ensure that the above tasks are carried out according to the correct procedures and quality standards.

What we expect from you in this role:

• Full-time availability;

• Flexibility regarding working hours, as breakdowns need to be resolved for continuous production processes;

• A completed technical vocational education (MBO);

• Proven experience in a similar role;

• Mechanical knowledge;

• Knowledge of electronics is a plus;

• Affinity with technology and machine maintenance in the food industry;

• Stress-resistant, able to prioritize well, and socially skilled;

• Good command of both the Dutch and English languages.

What Van Vugt Kruiden offers you:

• A salary between € 4.700,- and € 5.700,- gross a month, depending on experience and knowledge;

• 25.5 vacation days per year and 8.33% vacation allowance;
