Are you a (junior) account manager with a strong background in category management who knows how to seize commercial opportunities? Do you have the ability to open doors with potential clients, identify opportunities, and strengthen long-term partnerships? Then we would love to speak with you!

Your strategic insight, persuasive skills, and results-driven approach ensure that both existing and new customers are served optimally and supplied with the freshest herbs, edible flowers, and baby leaf greens. Could you be our new (junior) account manager?
As a (junior) account manager at Van Vugt Kruiden, you are the face of our company for customers both in the Netherlands and abroad. You understand the client’s needs, recognize their challenges, and translate this into suitable solutions using our products. By focusing on long-term and stable partnerships, you work closely with purchasing, marketing, and quality teams. Together, we ensure our products reach customers on time and as promised, every day.

No two days are the same here. Every day brings a new challenge: getting the most out of our products and customer relationships alongside your colleagues.

What will you do?

  • Maintain close contact with our customers

  • Negotiate volumes, prices, and promotions

  • Collaborate with the purchaser and category manager of our Retail and Foodservice clients to grow the category

  • Identify market opportunities and translate them into actions with the team

  • Analyze sales figures, trends, and market developments and convert them into commercial opportunities

You are the person we’re looking for if you:

  • Have an interest in sales and building customer relationships

  • Are available 38 hours per week

  • Speak Dutch and English fluently and have a good command of German (or are willing to develop it)

  • Enjoy collaborating and taking initiative

  • Are results-driven, persuasive, and entrepreneurial

  • Enjoy building and maintaining relationships
