For our Order Entry team, we are looking for a proactive, hands-on, and committed Lead Sales Support. Someone who not only actively contributes to the daily operations but also takes ownership of the team, its processes, and customer satisfaction.

 

In this role, you are the central point of contact within the Order Entry team. You monitor the quality of work, maintain oversight of daily operations, and ensure that customers are assisted quickly and accurately. You have a thorough understanding of all team processes and step in wherever necessary. You effortlessly switch between processing orders, answering customer inquiries, and resolving complex issues. You take responsibility and ensure that all matters are handled thoroughly and completed with care.

 

You see the Order Entry team as your team. You are invested in the development, well-being, and success of your colleagues. You create work schedules, arrange coverage during absences due to illness, and ensure that staffing levels are always adequate. When needed, you roll up your sleeves and actively support the team in daily operations. In addition, you serve as the link between the team and management. You identify opportunities, bottlenecks, and areas for improvement and translate them into concrete actions. You think ahead, work in a structured manner, and prevent problems before they arise. Taking ownership comes naturally to you: you do not let go of an issue until it has been fully resolved.

 

Together with Account Management, Purchasing, Marketing, Production Planning, and Management, you work every day towards one shared goal: satisfied customers, efficient processes, and a team where people enjoy working together and feel heard and valued.

 

What will you do?

Monitor quality, progress, and priorities within the Order Entry team;

Actively participate in all day-to-day Order Entry activities;

Manage the order mailbox and ensure timely follow-up of customer inquiries;

Prepare work schedules and holiday planning;

Arrange replacement coverage in case of illness or absence;

Act as the first point of contact for team members;

Coach, guide, and support colleagues in their daily work;

Continuously improve daily operations by identifying bottlenecks, developing solutions, and optimizing processes;

Monitor customer agreements, BAS schedules, product availability, and shelf-life information;

Prepare adjusted planning, work schedules, and procedures for holidays and peak periods;

Act as the connecting link between the team and management.

 

Who are you?

In addition, you have:

A proactive and solution-oriented mindset;

A strong sense of ownership; you take responsibility, think ahead, and do not let go of issues until they are resolved;

Excellent communication skills;

The ability to maintain an overview during busy periods;

Good command of both Dutch and English;

Proficiency with ERP systems and Microsoft Office;

Experience leading or coaching colleagues (not required but considered an advantage);

Strong organizational skills.
