Green smoothie bowl


Kale season starts again! We celebrate this with this green breakfast smoothie bowl. This smoothie bowl will give you enough energy to get you through the autumnal days. Delicious, easy to make and, particularly, healthy. That is what we call win-win.

What do you need:

  • 2 handfuls Kale

  • 2 handfuls (Baby) Spinach

  • 1 banana

  • 100 grams of frozen mango

  • 150 ml (plant-based) milk

  • Optional: honey (or another sweetener)

  • Toppings of your choice. We used banana, oat flakes, linseed, fresh Mint leaves and edible flowers.

Wash the Baby Spinach and the Kale. If necessary, remove the stems of the Kale and cut it coarsely. Accordingly, put the Kale leaves and the Spinach together with the banana, mango and milk in the blender. Mix on high speed until you have a smooth consistency. The amount of milk you add will determine the thickness of your smoothie bowl. So if you think the smoothie is still too thick, add some more milk! After this, add some honey to taste.

Pour the smoothie into a bowl and garnish with the toppings of your choice. In no time, you will have a delicious and healthy breakfast that will get you through your day! Enjoy!

Storage advice: The green smoothie bowl tastes best when made fresh and eat immediately. However, if you want to store it, it can be kept in the fridge for a maximum of 1 or 2 days.
