Will you be our new Account Manager?

As an Account Manager at Van Vugt Kruiden, you are the face of our company for customers at home and abroad. You understand what is happening at the customer level, recognize their challenges, and translate these into suitable solutions using our products. Because you focus on long-term and stable partnerships, you will work closely with purchasing, marketing, and quality teams throughout this process. Together, we ensure that our products reach our customers on time and according to agreement every day.

 

No two days are the same with us. Every day is a new challenge to get the best out of our products and our customer relationships together with your colleagues.

 

What will you do?

• Maintain intensive contact with our customers, both by phone and on-site;

• Negotiate volumes, prices, and promotions;

• Collaborate with buyers and category managers of our Retail and Foodservice customers to further grow the category;

• Achieve commercial objectives agreed upon with management;

• Develop and execute account plans in line with our ambitions;

• Analyze sales figures, trends, and market developments and translate them into commercial opportunities.

You are the person we are looking for if you:

• Have at least 5 years of experience in a similar role within the food industry (AGF/fresh produce is a plus);

• Are available 38 hours per week;

• Speak German well, in addition to fluent Dutch and English;

• Hold a valid driver’s license;

• Are results-driven, persuasive, and entrepreneurial;

• Enjoy building and maintaining relationships.
