Add extra flavor to your recipes with this homemade chimichurri. This quick and easy sauce is packed with fresh herbs and is a must-have on our recipe page.

Ingredients:

  • 15 g flat parsley

  • 15 g oregano

  • 5 g coriander

  • 3 cloves of garlic

  • ½ chili pepper

  • 80 ml olive oil

  • 1 tbsp red wine vinegar

  • salt and pepper

Instructions:

Finely chop the parsley, coriander, and oregano. Remove the seeds from the chili pepper and chop it as finely as possible. Crush the garlic cloves with a garlic press.

Mix all the ingredients together and, if desired, blend them more finely in a food processor or mortar. Add the olive oil and red wine vinegar, then season with salt and pepper. Stir well.

Tip: Let the chimichurri rest for at least 10 minutes to allow the flavors to develop fully.

Serve over delicious bruschetta with ricotta, tomato, and avocado, roasted corn on the cob, or a nice piece of meat. Chimichurri pairs especially well with grilled lamb or beef.
