Homemade Tomato Salsa

Whether you serve it with tacos, nachos, or as a dip with some crusty bread, this salsa takes just a few minutes to make and is always a hit. With ripe tomatoes, lime, and a little spice, you’ll have a true classic that deserves a spot on every snack platter.
Ingredients:
-
3 vine tomatoes
-
Juice of ½ lime (add to taste)
-
5 g coriander
-
5 g flat-leaf parsley
-
½ red onion
-
1 clove of garlic
-
½ chili pepper (optional)
-
1 tbsp olive oil
-
Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions:
Dice the tomatoes into small cubes. Use only the flesh and remove the watery parts so the salsa doesn’t get too runny. Finely chop the red onion and garlic (you can also use a garlic press). Remove the seeds and membranes from the chili and chop finely. Add to the tomato-onion mixture to taste. Don’t like spicy food? Simply leave it out.
Roughly chop the coriander and parsley and add them in. Mix the lime juice and olive oil to make a dressing and stir through the salsa. Season with salt and pepper.
Tip: Let it sit for at least 15 minutes so the flavors can fully develop.
