Guacamole with Fresh Herbs

Our homemade guacamole is pure, fresh, and full of flavour. We make it with creamy avocados, a splash of lime juice, and juicy tomatoes. To make it extra delicious, we add red onion, chilli pepper, and fresh coriander and parsley. Perfect with nachos, wraps, or simply on a slice of bread.

 

Ingredients:

  • 1 large tomato

  • 3 ripe avocados

  • Juice of half a lime (add to taste)

  • 5 g coriander

  • 5 g flat-leaf parsley

  • ½ red onion

  • ½ chilli pepper

  • Salt and pepper

 

Instructions:

Cut the avocados in half and remove the pit. Blend everything with a hand blender until smooth. Prefer it chunky or don’t have a blender? No worries – you can also mash the avocados with a fork. Squeeze half a lime and add the juice to taste. This gives your guacamole a fresh flavour and prevents it from turning brown.

Finely dice the tomato, red onion, and chilli pepper, then add them to the mix. Be careful with the chilli and taste as you go. Finely chop the herbs and stir them in, keeping a bit of parsley aside to sprinkle on top. Season with salt and pepper and serve with tortilla chips. Also great with wraps or tacos.

 

Tip: Want it even creamier? Add 100 g of crème fraîche.
