Goat Cheese Truffles

Looking for a festive bite? These goat cheese truffles are the perfect combination of creamy, savory, and a touch of sweet heat. The fresh tang of goat cheese blends beautifully with the aromatic chives and rosemary, while cranberries and chili give an exciting twist. They are a real showstopper on any appetizer board and are especially fun to serve with a salty pretzel stick.
Ingredients:
-
200 g goat cheese
-
150 g cream cheese
-
Dried cranberries
-
Chili flakes
-
Pretzel sticks
-
Chives
-
Rosemary
-
Salt and pepper
Instructions:
In a deep bowl, mix the goat cheese and cream cheese until smooth and creamy. Season with salt and pepper. Finely chop the chives and rosemary and fold 1 tablespoon of each into the cheese mixture. For the topping, finely chop the dried cranberries and mix them with 1 tablespoon of chili flakes.
Shape the cheese mixture into small balls, about 3–4 cm in size. Wearing gloves makes it easier and less sticky. Coat the truffles with the cranberry-chili mixture and remaining herbs. Insert a pretzel stick into each one, and for a playful touch, tie a small bow around the stick with a chive strand.
Tip: For an extra herbal flavor, roll the truffles in freshly chopped herbs. This creates vibrant green truffles that are sure to impress.
